What size men’s footwear should I order?

For help finding the perfect fit for each style, please reference the sizing information on each product page. That said, here are some general guidelines for finding your size:

  • For boots and dress shoes, we typically recommend ordering the same size you wear in other high quality leather boots or dress shoes, or ½ size smaller than you normally wear in sneakers. If you are between sizes, we recommend you order the smaller size. (We recommend sizing down because the leather will naturally stretch to form to your feet over time. An initially snug fit is the best way to start off a long-term relationship with your boots.)

Where are your products made?

All of our products are handcrafted by skilled artisans at world-class manufacturing facilities. We currently manufacture products in León (Mexico), Porto (Portugal), Alicante (Spain), and Arkansas (USA). We have full-time team members in every country we manufacture in, and feel confident to proudly say that all of our suppliers and manufacturing partners offer the best quality craftsmanship and adhere to the highest fair labor and environmental stewardship standards.

How do I care for my leather shoes?

A little maintenance goes a long way! Check out our boot care guide for some tips on how to keep your leather shoes in the best possible shape.

All of our products are designed for the long haul and may need additional care from time to time. If you need professional care help for things like resoling your boots, please refer to our recommended cobblers page. Whether you need a quick shine before the weekend or a full resole of your boots, each partner was selected for their excellent reputation with local customers and for their experience with our products, and will help ensure your Thursdays last for years to come!

Is your footwear waterproof/water resistant?

Our boots and shoes are water resistant and will keep your feet dry on typical rainy days, but we wouldn’t recommend standing around in puddles in them. Products with welt construction feature a leather welt between the upper and the sole. This helps create a barrier against water entering the shoe (and makes them easily resoleable).

Note: Our suede products use the same top-tier construction methods and feature some added preventative protection; however, these leather types don’t play as well with water, so we recommend trying to keep them dry.

How much does domestic (US) shipping cost? How long will it take to get my order?

Standard shipping is free anywhere within the contiguous United States. Orders typically have a 1-3 business day processing time at our warehouse before they ship, but may take longer during the holidays due to high order volumes. As soon as your order ships, you will receive a tracking number and within 24 hours you will be able to see the estimated delivery date. Orders placed within the US typically take 1-5 business days to be delivered once shipped.

Expedited shipping is available if you need your order in a hurry. You can upgrade your shipping method at checkout for an additional fee. Currently, this option is only available to customers in the contiguous United States. (Note: Expedited orders placed after 1pm ET will process the next business day. Orders do not ship on Saturday, Sunday, or United States holidays.)

How do I start an exchange or return?

We want you to love your Thursdays. Pretty simple, right? If you’ve ordered the wrong size or have any other issue, you can always exchange or return your order so long as:

  • Your items are unworn, undamaged, in re-sellable condition, (i.e. no creases or wear on soles), and in their original packaging.
  • Your return request is submitted within 30 days of receiving your original order.

We offer free exchange or return shipping for items valued at $80 or more within the contiguous United States. Exchanges or returns for items under $80 may be subject to a $5 handling fee. Please view our full return policy here for more details.
